Hi, I’m Amar. I’m a university student studying computer science, and I like to build things.
Most of what I’ve learned about programming, I learned by making software I actually wanted to exist and figuring out whatever I needed to along the way. I find that far more interesting than learning things in the abstract. A real project forces me to deal with problems I’d never run into otherwise, and that’s usually where my learning happens.
Away from the computer, I read a lot, mostly about things I’m not formally trained in, like economics and law. I like understanding how the world works outside of my own field, and reading is the easiest way in.
